Acquia Appoints New CEO
Acquia has a new Chief Executive. Acquia, the Drupal Digital Experience Provider founded by Dries Buytaert, announced on Twitter on 19th December, that Stephan Reny steps up as President and CEO. He most recently served as Acquia's Chief Operating Officer, guiding all aspects of customer success, professional services, global support, security, and operations. In September 2019, Vista Equity Partners had acquired majority shares in Acquia.

Prior to joining Acquia in 2018, Reny served for nearly three decades at organizations such as HP and Micro Focus, where he was Vice President and General Manager and ran the Information Management and Governance and global SaaS businesses. He has held CEO, CFO, and COO roles spanning the technology, finance, corporate banking, investment banking, and private equity industries. Reny is a Bentley University alum. He is experienced in corporate development, sales, finance, and operations leadership roles across the technology and financial services industries.
Mr. Reny assumes the CEO role at a time when Acquia is expanding its solutions based on the open source Drupal content management system (CMS) used by thousands of enterprises, as well as its market-leading customer data platform (CDP) and digital asset management (DAM) system.
