Michael Schmid (Schnitzel)

Michael Schmid is a Drupal contributor, volunteer, and Group CTO and Board member of Amazee. He was the candidate for the AT-Large position in 2015 and soon after he decided he will represent the Drupal community within the Association Board.

Schmid started his Drupal journey soon after he joined Amazee in 2009. He attended his first DrupalCon event in 2010 which took place in Copenhagen. He helped organise multiple DrupalCons, planned camps, and run multiple sprints. He being a member of the D8MI (Drupal 8 Multilingual Initiative) contributed to making Drupal 8 more staggering.
