Drupal 8 Reached End-Of-Life in November 2021

Drupal core version 8 reached end-of-life on November 17th, 2021. All the Drupal contributed projects releases and releases of Drupal 8 core are marked unsupported as they will no longer have the security teams support. 

All Drupal 8 site owners will have to move to Drupal 9 to receive security updates and bug fixes. Drupal association will also disable testing with unsupported versions of Drupal. Only Contributed projects like modules and themes that are compatible with Drupal 7 or 9 and have opted in to security coverage will receive security advisories. 

The first version of Drupal 8 was released on November 9th, 2015 and the last version was released on November 17th, 2021. 

Drupal 7 end-of-life is scheduled for November 2022 and Drupal 9 end-of-life is scheduled for November 2023.
