Learn about Migration in DrupalCon Portland 2022

Suzanne Dergacheva (pixelite) in the blog ‘DrupalCon Portland 2022 Program Pathways: Drupal Migrations’ discusses how DrupalCon can be the best place to learn about Drupal Migration.

After the extension of Drupal 7 end of life, the pressure of migrating websites is reduced, and this is the right time to discuss the challenges one might face when migrating to Drupal 9.

In the blog, she discusses Drupal Migration training led by Dharizza Espinach from Evolving Web. It will offer hands-on experience and provide a step-by-step guide through the process of migrating to Drupal 9. This training will take place on 25^th and 26^thApril 2022, and you can register for it when purchasing your DrupalCon tickets.

Suzanne then talks about Migration Assistant, a new addition to the DrupalCon that will solely focus on your migration needs. This space will have a strong group of Migration Mentors that will help with troubleshooting, creating action plans, and answering questions related to migration. The Migration Assistant Space will be open on 27^th and 28^th April 2022 between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm PST in Room B114-B115 and is open for all.

She further discusses the Industry Summit that will cover presentations on industry-specific migration practices and Bird of a Feather Session that will require you to propose a migration-related topic to meet and discuss with others.
