Job Responsibilities
An ideal candidate pairs their engineering experience for Drupal with advanced knowledge of API integrations and database systems. An ideal candidate will also have some WordPress experience (or the appetite and aptitude to learn). You’ll spend about 50% of your time configuring and maintaining CMS stacks and the other 50% of your time developing custom solutions for integrations across platforms. Successful candidates must demonstrate experience through a portfolio and references.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining and enhancing Drupal instances
Configuring and customizing Drupal Plugins/Modules
Utilizing APIs to build custom integrations
Creating and maintaining custom database pipelines
Building stand-alone web applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of working experience
- Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL
- Knowledge of libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, jQuery, Vue JS, Apline, pre-processing frameworks (Sass or Less), and integration experience with common APIs.
- Preference for advanced experience with PHP, .Net, and Python
- Preference for experience building data pipelines for Tableau
- Proficient implementation of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience optimizing high traffic, large-scale websites
- Experience with Linux environments
- Experience implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Experience with Pantheon hosting platform required
- Understanding of responsive development and digital user experience
- Analytical thinker and problem solver able to come up with creative solutions to diverse problems
- Ability to handle projects independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay Scale: $75000-95000 DOE
