SUMMARY:

• Responsible for developing technical solutions that may require collaboration with internal expertise and deep analysis of the technical system.
• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
• Ensuring high-performance and availability.
• Managing all technical aspects of the CMS .
• Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, functional and intuitive implementation.
• A Developer with strong Drupal experience will be responsible for working with PHP and other server-side languages on a regular basis.
• Will create custom modules, run automated tests, use web services, and deploy software automatically, and may also become involved in the theme layer's more sophisticated aspects.
• Assists on mid to large and complex projects or processes.
• May manage projects while delegating work to lower-level employees.
• Works independently on large or complex projects and assignments, with minimal guidance, and at an operational level regarding policies, best practices, and procedures.
• Requires ability to participate in cross- department discussions to influence job area processes.
• Exhibits practical knowledge of project management .
• Requires advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Requires a University Degree and minimum 4-6 years of prior relevant experience; some roles may require graduate-level education Master’s or Doctorate degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree).

REQUIREMENTS:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Must possess a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, etc.)
• A deep understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment.
• 4+ years experience as a Developer.
• 4+ years experience with Drupal front and backend.
• 3+ years experience working in Agile environments.
• Must have ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture.

PREFERRED EXPIERIENCE:

• Some technical QA experience.
• Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels.
• Experience creating custom Drupal modules.
• Experience developing wireframes and core site structure using Drupal.
