JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

As a Mid-Level Drupal Developer on our team, you'll focus on the backend development of our Drupal websites hosted on Pantheon. Your role involves executing assigned tasks with precision, contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our sites. You'll be a key player in our engineering team, following directives to ensure our backend infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. This position requires a deep understanding of Drupal and a commitment to applying best practices in coding, security, and site performance, directly impacting the success and reliability of our product.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, and maintain backend functionalities of our Drupal sites.
  • Support custom modules and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with the development team team to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the product through effective database and code optimization.
  • Enforce security best practices, including regular review and updates to safeguard data integrity and protect against vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the development team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Drupal development, including custom module development, key contributed modules, and core API.
  • Experience with Drupal 8/9/10.
  • Proficient in PHP
  • Experience with SQL databases, version control tools such as Git, and web services integration.
  • strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of code deployment, continuous integration, and best practices in web development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the Pantheon hosting environment.
  • Familiarity with frontend development in Drupal (especially Twig).
  • Contributions to the Drupal community (modules, themes, documentation, etc.).
