Rahul Dewan

Rahul Dewan an accomplished entrepreneur, angel investor, and open source software advocate with a diverse portfolio of interests. He founded Srijan Technologies in 2002, an open source software services company, which he successfully sold to an American company in late 2021. Under his leadership, Srijan Technologies upheld values of authenticity, mutual respect, and continuous improvement, fostering a culture deeply rooted in spiritual principles. Subsequently, in mid-September 2022, Rahul orchestrated the sale of Srijan to Material+, a US-based Consumer Insights and Data consulting firm, ensuring fair returns for minority shareholders and providing substantial ex-gratia bonuses to approximately 250 non-shareholding employees. Presently, Rahul is actively engaged as an angel investor in a range of startups in India and Israel, spanning sectors such as defense, drones, agri-tech, water-tech, waste-to-energy, and bioplastics.

Lead facilitator for the "Business Summit" at Drupalcon Asia 2016. Played a key role in campaigning with the Drupal Association in bringing the Drupalcon to India. Have helped in many ways in making the Drupalcon Asia a success.
