LakeDrops started in 2011 as a network of experienced Drupal freelancers. In 2022, LakeDrops merged with bitegra Solutions, which has been founded in early 2019 as a consultancy and software development company out of the cooperation of originally three individual companies based in Germany.The most recent and much acclaimed contribution from LakesDrop is the ECA module. The launch of ECA 1.0.0 happened after around 3,000 hours of development work in only 12 months.
