Gautam Gottipati

I am Gautam Gottipati.
I'm currently doing my Master's in Computer Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I have 2+ years of professional experience, where I worked 2 years for Tata Consultancy Services as a Data Engineer, where I worked in close collaboration with the client Apple as a Data Engineer, where I had an opportunity to work on Spark, Scala, Python, Snowflake data warehouse, the client maintained ETL tool and many. Developed 200+ data pipelines written in Spark and Scala, processing files from source to target databases, up to sizes greater than 500MB at a time, with more than 1 million records. Enhanced performance of data pipelines by working closely with client to understand and set proper resource configurations and enhance code, reducing runtime by 33.3%. Before that, I did my internship for 6 months at Epam Systems as a Junior Software Engineer, where I made my hands dirty by making Single Page Applications using Angular, ExpressJS, MongoDB, and NodeJS.
