Shiraz Dindar
Shiraz started in web development in 2005 and soon found himself enthralled by Drupal, both as a CMS and by the community. Drupal was the perfect gateway for him from social and environmental activism into a values-applied career. He loves to work with clients that do good in the world.
He has worked fully in Drupal since then, never wandering far from the content management system which attracts the best developers and the best clients.
Shiraz transitioned from working as a solo Drupal developer, to working for the Vancouver-based company Affinity Bridge, and then eventually to Kanopi, where he has been happily plugging away since 2014.
He is proud to have committed code over the years to the Mukurtu project, a free platform built on top of Drupal by Washing State University for Indigenous communities to manage and share digital cultural heritage.
Shiraz finds particular pleasure in complex migrations, and owes a debt of gratitude to everyone that has ever worked on the Migration API.
