Fei Lauren Elected; Imre, Lenny and Piyush Co-Opted to Drupal Association Board
The Drupal Association has announced the newest elected member, Fei Lauren, along with three additional new members to the association, namely Imre Gmelig Meijing, Lenny Moskalyk, and Piyush Poddar. At the same time, it bid farewell to three outgoing board members who have contributed significantly to both Drupal and the Drupal community. Mike Herchel, Ryan Szrama, and Board Chair Baddý Sonja Breidert received heartfelt gratitude for their dedicated service. Baddý Sonja Breidert will continue to be part of the Executive Committee for one year as a non-voting Immediate Past Chair.
The Drupal Association introduced and congratulated its four new board members, officially announced during the public board meeting at DrupalCon Lille. Fei Lauren makes a significant achievement by securing a community-elected seat during the 2023 At-Large Board Election. This election saw active participation from ten candidates, with 477 voters casting their ballots out of a pool of 2,873 eligible voters. Fei Lauren emerged as the top candidate with 156 votes, followed closely by Matthew Saunders with 144 votes.
