I co founded Manatí, a web agency that focused its efforts on building websites for social impact. For 11 years we followed the spirit of community, collaboration, and open-source values that led us to grow to an outstanding team of 21 people. In October of 2022, Manatí got acquired by the prestigious agency Four Kitchens. We're onto a new adventure now!

I have more then 20 years of experience in the web, where I have been a consultant in digital strategy and Open Source technologies adoption in organizations such as Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC), CINDE, INCAE Business School, IICA, among others. I have worked with organizations such as Non Profits, media outlets, higher ed institutions, entrepreneur centers, and governmental organizations.

In the past I've served in the Digital Government Committee at the Chamber of Informations Technologies and Communications of Costa Rica and in the Citizen Participation and Open Government Commission at the Presidential House in Costa Rica.

As an Open Source enthusiast, I contribute to the Drupal Association Costa Rica, where I'm a community organizer, speaker and trainer. I have spoken at conferences like Drupalcon, Drupalcon Latinamerica, DrupalNorth, the Nonprofit Technology Conference, and others.
